CURRENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Tim’s primary role is to manage EvapTech’s sales and marketing functions involving new towers, after market services, and parts/components. The main objectives of the assignment are to assure that EvapTech is responsive to customer requests, appropriately applies the Team’s Know-How to satisfy customer demands, and promotes the capabilities of EvapTech.

Tim’s main responsibilities include coordinating and directing the activities of EvapTech’s direct sales associates as well as managing EvapTech’s sales representatives. His responsibilities also include product and application training and education for customers and EvapTech sales associates. He is accountable for developing sales tools and marketing literature.

Other responsibilities include strategic and annual business planning, risk management, thermal selection support, supplier relations, product development, and interface with other EvapTech resources.

Extensive cooling tower industry experience acquired since 1971 involving a variety of assignments with cooling tower manufacturers/contractors as follows:

  • 2005 to Present: EvapTech, Vice President Sales and Marketing
  • 2001 to 2004:  Hamon Cooling Tower Company, Vice President AfterMarket Services – Accountable for expanding the after market services offering for a global cooling tower manufacturer. First year sales growth was four-fold. Promoted services in new markets and expanded sales representative network to assure effective customer coverage and satisfaction.
  • 1998 to 2001:  Marley Cooling Tower Company, Division Manager Cooling Services – Accountable for $175 million division P/L; supervised headquarters staff managers and regional business unit managers; oversight of sales and marketing functions and related construction operations; products and services included cooling tower reconstruction, repairs, parts, and alternative water treatment.
  • 1995 to 1998:  Marley Cooling Tower Company, Vice President Sales & Marketing – Accountable for bookings in excess of $200 million in new cooling towers and after market services for domestic and export business; company-wide marketing and advertising; supervised headquarters staff managers, field sales managers, and 75 sales representatives.
  • 1992 to 1995:  Marley Cooling Tower Company, Power Market Manager – Accountable for proposal development and sales of new towers and reconstruction services to power market customers. Supervised power market department that supported field sales including thermal selections, risk management, and personal selling to key accounts.
  • 1984 to 1992:  Marley Cooling Tower Company, Western Regional Sales Manager – Accountable for sales of all cooling tower products and services in western states; supervised Los Angeles based staff and regional sales representatives.
