Dick was graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. His background includes various positions in project engineering in the metals industry as well as project management in construction. He purchased the company from the original owner in 1988. Jason Fant is vice president of Dixie Engineering. Jason has been with Dixie Engineering for 11 years and came from BE&K Construction. At Dixie, Jason specializes in working with industrial and chemical process customers on boiler optimization, heat transfer, and management issues. Johnny Dedeaux manages the Mobile, Alabama Sales Office. Johnny has an Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Alabama. Upon graduation he began his career with McAbee Construction as the pressure vessel and heat exchanger fabrication manager and from there went to KBR Mobile as a senior heat exchanger and pressure vessel engineer. Johnny has been with Dixie for six years.
