January 8, 2008 – Bill Bartley, CEO of Evapco, Inc., announced the immediate appointment of Mark Muder as President of EvapTech, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Evapco.

Since joining EvapTech in 2006, Muder has been concentrating on large cooling tower projects for electric utility industry customers in his assignment as Vice President of Global Business Development. Muder brings more than twenty-five years of industry experience to his new role having been involved in all aspects of the cooling tower business including sales, marketing, operations, and construction. Muder has also served in significant industry roles internationally while stationed in Australia and China.

Bartley also announced the promotion of John Ahern to the position of Vice President – Engineering for EvapTech. Ahern has been employed by EvapTech since its creation in January 2005. Ahern is recognized as an expert regarding cooling tower structures using fiberglass, wood, steel, and concrete materials. Ahern has served the industry for more than thirty years in various engineering and product development roles of increasing management responsibility.

Muder’s appointment and Ahern’s promotion round out EvapTech’s leadership team which also includes Tom Bugler – Executive Vice President, Tim Wigger – Vice President Sales & Marketing, Joe Whalen - Vice President Operations, and Mike Vessels – Vice President Construction.
